Harden'd Shadow of all things upon our Vegetated^{2 Earth，}

Enlarg'd into Dimension and deform'd into indefinite Space，

In Twenty-seven Heavens and all their Hells， with Chaos³

And Ancient Night and Purgatory^{4. It is a cavernous Earth}

Of labyrinthine^{5 intricacy， twenty- seven folds of Opaqueness6，}

And finishes where the lark^{7 mounts.}
